Position: Salesforce Administrator
Reports to: Senior Director of Technology
Schedule: Hybrid position with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Oak Brook, IL, and remote work on Tuesday and Friday. Standard hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Salesforce Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Salesforce environments, as well as our integrated Bullhorn for Salesforce application that powers our CRM and ATS functionality. Your main focus will be on enhancing the user experience for our sales organization by identifying opportunities for automation and data accuracy.
As a key collaborator, you will work closely with sales leadership and users to understand and document business processes, helping to design technology solutions that streamline and optimize our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience working within Salesforce in the staffing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing sales and recruiting processes to identify opportunities for technical enhancements, and proactively propose and implement solutions within Salesforce.
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and automation rules to meet the needs of the sales and recruiting teams.
- Develop and maintain insightful customer reports and dashboards.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage Salesforce updates.
- Provide ongoing support and training for users, ensuring they are empowered to use the system effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage Salesforce projects.
- Work with vendors and consultants on specialized projects as needed.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to safeguard our systems.
- Plan for and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience working with Salesforce; Salesforce certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Talent Rover and Bullhorn is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills, with experience using tools like Jira or Asana.
- Experience managing Salesforce deployments using tools like Flosum.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in documentation and change management processes.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the staffing or recruiting industry is highly desirable.
- Salesforce certification is a plus.
