Regional Administrative Assistant - Regional Office - Winston Salem

Health Systems Management, Inc. (HSM) is a full-service healthcare management organization providing a full range of development, management, and administrative services for dialysis facilities over the past 35 years in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. HSM has an outstanding reputation in the renal community for providing high quality patient care and encouraging physician input while maintaining efficient business operations. We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Regional Administrative Assistant to join our dialysis team.

Must have at least 3 years of administrative experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities and Physical Demands:

  • Professional level verbal, written, and mathematical skills expected.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Duties to be performed, but not limited to:
    • Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
    • Handle emails.
    • Greet visitors and answer door with a welcoming presence.
  • Handles confidential information with the utmost sensitivity.
  • Work in a cohesive partnership with all supported executives and other administrative team members, high energy and positivity a must.
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficient with various office equipment: Desktop computer, laptop, calculator, copier, postage meter, fax machine, etc.
  • Checking/Verifying staff licensure and CCHT expirations.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to engage in events.
  • Ability to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets, and databases as needed.
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
  • Performs other administrative duties, as assigned.

Education Requirements and Position Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Three (3) years of proven administrative support experience required. Healthcare administrative support experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. To include spreadsheets, presentations, database programs, etc.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail along with sound judgement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical-thinking skills and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, clinical nurse managers, and staff.
  • Be able to manage/reschedule priorities effectively and proactively.
  • Schedule flexibility.
  • Understanding of best office practices, and current regulations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data entry and data tracking.
  • Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color-Blind Test.
