MAINTENANCE TEFCHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking experience Maintenance Technicians- Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operation of equipment located inside the Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This includes ensuring proper preventative maintenance inspections and troubleshooting on motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems. The technician must be able to accurately follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s instructions. Position is to ensure functionality and reliability of conveyors, screens, shredders, and facility building.
Pay range $19-40 hour. 2nd shift has a $.50 cents shift differential included. We set our pay based on several factors including knowledge, experience, education, training, certifications and location. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum of 3-5 years of mechanic service and repair experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts suc h as ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
