Guardian Bandsaw is the US subsidiary of New Zealand based Guardian Bandsaw. We design and manufacture the world’s safest vision-based bandsaw equipment systems to reduce the most serious injuries at meat + industrial processing plants. Our equipment is used by the largest global meat processors in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

We are growing quickly, and we have recently set up our US operation in Omaha to service our fast-growing customer base. 

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our tight knit team. You will be proactive, capable, and a motivated person who will hit the ground running to successfully support day-to-day operations at our Omaha site. This is a busy and exciting role where no day is the same with an opportunity to work in a fast-growing role with team members located in both the US and New Zealand. This is a full-time permanent role.

The Role

• Become the primary internal expert on Fishbowl.
• Ensure that Inventory is available and pickable for daily parts orders. 
• Be a fast worker on the keyboard and computer to manage all inventory functions while maintaining accuracy.
• Ensure that all inventory is shelved 100% accurately and matches Fishbowl.
• Back up PPS & QC Associate as needed. (Example: receiving new products).
• Lead and participate in cycle counts
• Accurately count and record stock that has been received. 
• Ensure that the warehouse is kept in a safe tidy state – shared with PPS Associate.
• Ensure newly received stock is stored away tidily and with correct labeling.

Requirements

• Excellent Microsoft Office capability applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience and knowledge in the Fishbowl inventory software high regarded, however sound experience working in inventory systems is a must.
• Excellent Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Strong organizational skills 
• Ability to thrive and cope under pressure
• Great work ethic
• Good oral and written communication skills. Majority of customer communication is via email. 
• You must have experience effectively communicating with customers via email.
