Job Description

Job Description: Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota (CAN of MN) is currently hiring for part-time weekend Direct Support Professionals in the White Bear Lakes, MN area! Job Responsibilities:

Assist individuals with daily living skills, household tasks, personal hygiene, budgeting, and medication administration.
Transport and accompany residents in community activities, recreation, and leisure activities. Company vehicles provided.
Provide and maintain a safe environment while implementing behavior management skills.
Assisting individuals periodically throughout the overnight shift.
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid driver's license
Must pass DHS background study
Required: experience working with individuals with high behaviors and behavior intervention techniques
Passionate about serving others!

Part-Time Hours (30 hours or less): * Weekend shifts ranging from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm - 6am Benefits: * Part-time staff who work less than 30 hours per week are offered the following benefit: 403B Retirement Plan. Level II DSP: $20.00 hourly on Weekdays / $21.00 hourly on Weekends CANMN is a faith-based non-profit organization providing person-centered services to adults with a variety of intellectual disabilities.
